There are indeed a lot of half timbered houses in Germany. However the Hotel “Zur Oberen Linde”, surrounded by the vineyards of the Black Forest, is one of the most beautiful. Beside the romantic scenery of the old building, classified historical monument, along with a 350 years hospitality tradition, a familiar and cosy atmosphere is awaiting you. We will try to make you feel at home during your stay.

Our excellent restaurant is well-known for its specialities such as fish and game dishes. You may enjoy with that the exquisite wines of the region in the cosy rooms of our restaurant. Jochen Bähr and his team will moreover pamper you with an outstanding service.

Have a restful stay in one of the 27 individual rooms of our hotel – among them four poster bedrooms in the Black Forest style on one floor. When the weather is fine you can relax on our tranquil terrace in the “Lime garden” with its old trees.
